Services

• We offer x-ray, 3D screening mammograms, ultrasound, and DEXA bone densitometry services. 
• X-ray examinations, screening mammograms and bone densitometry are available on a walk-in basis. Ultrasounds should be scheduled in person at the Radiology Reception Desk or by calling 361-961-3466.
• Beginning July 1, 2023, the Radiology Department will no longer perform diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, or fluoroscopic studies.  These services and other examinations unavailable at this facility may be performed at local TRICARE network facilities and should be coordinated through your primary care provider. 
• Services are available to TRICARE beneficiaries up to 64 years old.
• We honor civilian requests for services (please contact the Radiology Reception Desk for more information).
• All active duty members should be in the uniform of the day.  All uniformed members and beneficiaries 10 years or older must present a valid military ID at the time of services. 
• A parent or legal guardian must accompany all beneficiaries under 18 years of age. 
• Children should not be left unattended in the Radiology Department. Please make arrangements for childcare services. 
• CDs with radiology studies are available by request at the Radiology Reception Desk. 
• We are closed on weekends and federal holidays.
